I was watching the movie Transformers recently when I noticed another form of media. I had seen this movie once or twice before and never picked up on it until this last watch. Hasbro (the toy company that created transformers) used the movie to push some of their other products on movie goers. There is a scene where one of the giant robots flips a truck and uses it to shield a blast. What is on the side of the truck? None other than Furby, another popular toy. This scene may be overlooked because the audience is so wrapped up in the nonstop action that one truck exploding is the same as the next. However, the media tries to reach the public sometimes when you least expect it
