I was watching the movie Se7en recently, and one quote in particular stood out to me. Kevin Spacey’s character says “Wanting people to listen, you can’t just tap them on the shoulder anymore. You have to hit them with a sledgehammer, and then you’ll notice you’ve got their strict attention.” I think this goes along with some of the new measures the media is taking to grab our attention.
